How do I import donor information from a spreadsheet?
How do I merge duplicate contacts?
Can I add or merge multiple organizations?
Can I connect MailChimp or my Gmail Account to MPDX?
Do my donations sync with MPDX automatically?
The answer is yes! If your organization syncs its donation information with MPDX, the sync is automatic when you create your MPDX account with your organizational email address. MPDX syncs with a donation system once daily and it may take up to 24 hours to display the most current donations.
Is MPDX available for ministries outside of Cru?
MPDX has been open to many missions organizations and churches. If yours is one of them, you can log in and connect to your organization.
In 2024, we stopped adding additional organizations. Email support@mpdx.org with any questions about whether or not your organization can use MPDX.
Does all my information transfer from TntConnect?
Yes, for the most part. To locate your information, click this: Finding TntConnect Data After Import link. For more information about the TntConnect to MPDX process, click this link: Moving From TntConnect.
How does MPDX work for spouses?
First, make sure your ministry syncs their donation system with MPDX and your accounts are linked together.
Each spouse simply logs in with their own Okta account. This will allow you to share the same MPDX database, but sync with separate Google accounts. This keeps information up to date in each spouse’s contacts and in MPDX. You can both be working in MPDX at the same time. Changes will be saved real time.
I’m getting married. Can we merge our MPDX accounts?
Separate MPDX accounts can be merged into one for married couples.
- Click the link: Merge Spouse Accounts and have the husband initiate the account merge (this will help the balance to be correct).
- You can merge your accounts at any time, before or after Cru officially merges your accounts. No data will be lost (including all the wife’s past giving data if it was already in MPDX).
- After the merge, under the Tools menu, run the Merge Contacts and Merge People tool to eliminate duplicates.
How do I get rid of all these Facebook contacts?
MPDX previously had a connection that imported all your contacts from Facebook. Since Facebook no longer allows connections to import any personal data, it's recommended that you keep any Facebook contacts.
- You have access to employment, birthday, anniversary, and relationship information. If you remove these Facebook contacts, you will have to add them and all their personal information manually.
- A Facebook profile picture is displayed for each MPDX contact record.
- This Facebook profile picture stays current and updates whenever they change it.
- This functionality no longer exists when adding new Facebook links to MPDX.
- These Facebook connections can be a great referral source of possible future ministry partners.
- You can create a tag for these Facebook contacts so you can easily filter on them at any time.
- Or these Facebook contacts can be hidden and referred to later.
Add a Facebook Tag to These Contacts
- Go to the Contacts page and then locate Filters on the left hand side.
- Choose the Status filter and select None for the status type.
- Click on the Select button and choose Select all # contacts.
- Then click the Actions button.
- Choose Add Tags.
- Under Create New Tags, type in the word Facebook and then click Save.
- Under Tags (on the left) locate the Facebook tag and click on it to display these contacts.
Hiding These Unwanted Contacts
- Go to the Contacts page and then locate Filters on the left hand side.
- Choose the Status filter and select None for the status type.
- Click on the Select button and choose Select all # contacts.
- Then click the Actions button.

My import from TntConnect is not working.
In TntConnect:
- Click on File, Utilities, Maintenance, and Export as XML.
All of my contacts have disappeared or a look-up isn’t working.
- From the Contacts page, click the Reset All Filters button on top the left to display all active contacts.
- Verify that you only have the correct filters and/or tags selected.
- Under Filters, select All Hidden for any contacts with an inactive status, i.e., Expired Connection.
